Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Period:

1 day = 24 hours
The rental period ends on the agreed-upon end date and time.
Any extension beyond the agreed-upon end date and time may be subject to additional fees.
The rental period begins on the agreed-upon start date, time and continues for the duration specified in the rental agreement.
Late return of equipment will result in a daily fee of $40 per equipment beyond the agreed rental period.
Please note that your rental is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

2. Rental Equipment:

The equipment provided for rent includes the main components and any other necessary accessories.
The renter is responsible for the proper installation and set-up of the equipment.
The renter must not tamper with or modify the equipment without prior authorization.

3. Rental Fees and Payments:

The rental fees are clearly stated in the rental agreement and are subject to change.
The payment for the rental, including any security deposits or additional fees, must be made in full and in the currency of (Canadian Dollar) specified in the rental agreement before picking up the equipment's.
Any unpaid amounts may result in additional charges, including late fees and collection costs.
Damage deposit will be refunded back to the original form of payment and may take up to 2-5 business days.
Late return of equipment will result in a daily fee of $40 per equipment beyond the agreed rental period.

4. Use and Responsibilities:

The renter is responsible for using the equipment in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.
The renter must not use the equipment for illegal activities, including hacking, piracy, or distribution of unauthorized content.
The renter is responsible for ensuring the proper care and maintenance of the equipment during the rental period.
The renter will be held liable for any damage or loss to the equipment during the rental period, except for ordinary wear and tear.

5. Limitation of Liability:

Roaming Essentials and associates/affiliates shall not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the rental or use of the equipment.
Roaming Essentials does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

6. Return:

The renter must return the equipment to the designated location at the end of the rental period.
The equipment must be in the same condition as when rented, excluding ordinary wear and tear.
Failure to return the equipment on time will result in a daily fee of $40 per equipment.
Upon return, the equipment will be inspected, and the renter may be charged for any damage beyond ordinary wear and tear.

7. Termination and Cancellation:

Roaming Essentials reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time for any reason.
The renter may cancel 5 days prior to the rental agreement by providing email notice to support@roamingessentials.ca.
Refunds for early termination or cancellation may be subject to deductions for any applicable fees.

8. Governing Law and Disputes:

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the district in which Roaming Essential operates.
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be submitted to arbitration or a court of competent authority.

Important Information
Normal wear such as small scratches and light dirt or marks is acceptable. Damage that includes cracks, holes, splits, bent parts, or anything similar will be treated as severe damage. In cases of severe damage, theft, or total loss, the renter will lose their full equipment deposit and may be billed additional replacement costs. For minor losses or damage, a partial charge will be deducted from the renter’s deposit based on the item's value.

No-Show Policy
If a booking is made but the equipment is not picked up for all or part of the rental term and we are not notified within the first 24 hours of the rental period—the full rental cost will be charged.

For Early Return Policy – Short-Term Rentals / Long Term Rentals
The final 5 days of the rental period are non-refundable. Any additional unused days will be refunded at a rate of $15 per day.

If a long-term rental is cancelled within the first 3 weeks, pricing will be adjusted to match our short-term rental rates. As with short-term rentals, the final 5 days of the rental term are non-refundable, and any additional unused days will be refunded at $15 per day.

Geographical Use

The Equipment is authorized for use strictly within Canada and may not be transported or operated outside this region without the Owner's prior written approval.
