Roaming Essentials is a small family owned business located in Calgary Alberta. We provide high-quality equipment rental services for both residential and commercial use. Our extensive inventory includes everything from Starlink Satellite Wifi to Ecoflow Power Station to ensure that you have the right equipment for the Adventure. Our team is knowledgeable and experienced and can assist you in selecting the right equipment for your adventure. We take pride in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our equipment is always well-maintained and ready for use.
Secure Payments
We’ve partnered with Square to offer a secure and seamless payment experience, ensuring your transactions and rental deposits are handled with confidence. We accept all major credit and debit cards, and provide receipts for every transaction.
Damage Deposit
As with any equipment rental service, a security deposit is required to protect against loss, damage, or misuse. Provided all items are returned on time and in good condition, your deposit will be refunded to the original payment card within 2–5 business days.
Do I need the Starlink app? and what is it used for?
Yes, the Starlink app is recommended for setup and basic operation. Once you're connected to the Wi-Fi network created by the Starlink system, the app allows you to:

Troubleshoot connectivity issues

Stow the dish for transport

Check for obstructions and monitor network status

Align the dish (applicable to Starlink Mini and Gen 3 systems)
Please note that some features, such as changing subscription settings, are unavailable since the system is registered under our account. However, you can fully use the app’s diagnostic tools without creating your own Starlink account.
Rental Booking Information
We offer a range of pricing options based on the duration of the rental period. To finalize your reservation, kindly contact us directly, and we will assist in arranging the booking. Please note that your rental is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
Equipment may be collected and returned in person at our location in SW Calgary. We provide shipping to any location within US and Canada. Each rental kit is fully pre-configured, including an active subscription and Wi-Fi credentials. Simply assemble the components and power on the system to begin using it.
